The magic behind Poetry.

Time for bed, Written by Mem Fox and Illustrated by Jane Dyer.

It's time for bed, little foal, little foal,
I'll whisper a secret, but don't tell a soul.

I  believe I have read this book more than a hundred times, and every time I read I enjoy it more and more. Time for bed is a picture book perfectly combined with incredible pictures of animals. Each page has beautiful prose, matching the words with each other to create delightful poetry. The book includes important information about animals and how we call animals when they are babies,  reinforcing on kids new vocabulary and new expressions. One of the things that I love about this book is that you can read it or sing it. A perfect book to read for kids, especially at an early age.

Oilcloth Table Cloth

Oilcloth Tablecloth
keeps the table dry,
despite the many soda spills
and coffee gone awry.
If someone sloshes orange juice
or baby starts to cry,
Oilcloth Tablecloth
keeps dry the table dry.

Humor, poetry, and children's literature are behind this collection of incredible poems. each of them could be read in a funny because there’s plenty of wordplay and even some tongue twisters. the acrylic painting is very colorful and well done, with lots of people, veggies, buildings, food, and family. fourteen hilarious poems in this book that will be perfect to read with children because the vocabulary may be easy for them and the rhymes you could make while reading will sound like a song.
